Our mission at Excition is to produce unique high quality products that match local needs
while supporting the communities and environment our business operates within. Excition was founded by three University
of Washington alumni in response to the need for a range of high quality graduation announcements that could accurately
reflect the unique achievements of University of Washington students. John Marini, Erin Easter, and James Howard have worked
hard to build a solid foundation from which we can meet the unique needs of the university community while making a
positive impact on our environment and society through a sustainable business model.

| Environment |

Excition is committed to business practices that produce premium products without taking a toll on the environment.
All of our paper products either contain recycled post consumer content or alternative fibers such as hemp and flax. Through the use of post
consumer recycled content in our products we are able to reduce the number of new trees and amount of fresh water typically used in paper production.
In addition to recycled paper we also strive to use new environmentally friendly non wood based fibers and materials in our products including:
sugar cane, hemp, flax and plastics. Our commitment to the use of environmentally sound materials goes beyond our products and into the core of our
business practices. From our product packaging to business documents and promotional materials we make a concerted effort to reduce the negative
impacts of doing business.

Excition works with business partners who match our commitment toward sustainability and the local community
we serve. Through
partnerships with local businesses and suppliers the money our customers spend stays in their local economy. In
addition to our efforts to
promote local production of our goods Excition strives to make a positive impact on the communities that it
serves. This includes partnering
