Description The portfolio is nothing special, but I put it on here in case you're curious about how it works. It's just a nice little widget that makes it easy to keep my projects list up to date. I wrote this thing back in 2005 and at the time, though I looked and looked, I couldn't find anything that was simple enough to use but would do what I want, so I made my own. The original portfolio was written in java with hibernate, but then I upgraded my web server and it inexplicably no longer worked and hibernate had fallen out of favor with me by that time, so I ripped out all the hibernate stuff and replaced it with iBatis. I'm probably going to do a ruby on rails version in the near future, just because the portfolio is just your basic CRUD web app and I'd like to compare the java + iBatis implementation with a RoR implementation. |
