Privacy Policy
We at Excition value your business and care about how information about you is used and shared. Excition’s privacy policy covers the collection and use of personal information that may be collected by Excition anytime you interact with Excition, such as when you visit our website, when you purchase Excition’s products and services, or when you call our sales or support associates. We value your trust that we will use your information carefully and sensibly. The following privacy principles are strictly adhered to by all Excition employees and partners. By visiting Excition, Inc.’s website, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice.
Collection of Personal Information
In order to provide you with the highest level of service and process custom orders it is necessary for Excition to collect personal information about you. The collection of this information helps up deliver a superior level of customer service. The types of information we gather are:
Information You Give Us
We receive and store any information you enter on our web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide certain information, if you elect to not provide us with some information you may be unable to take advantage of many of our features. We use the information that you provide for such purposes as personalizing your products, responding to your requests, customizing future shopping for you, improving our website, and communicating with you.

Information can and will be collected anytime you communicate with Excition, Inc via our website, telephone support, mail, or personal communications.

The types of information you may give us include but are not limited to: personal information such as your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and contact preferences; your credit card information and information about the Excition products you have purchased; and information relating to a support or service issue.

Automatic Information
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. Examples of these include a session Id and your IP address. The session ID is used to uniquely identify your web browser with us during your browsing session. A unique identifier is used to implement such things as your shopping cart.

Depending on your web browser configuration, your session ID will either be stored in a cookie that expires 30 minutes after your last interaction with Excition, Inc.’s web site, or it will be appended onto Excition URL’s and then stored while you are visiting the site.

Some of Excition’s automatic information could be collected in the form of cookies. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and to implement your shopping cart.

The Help portion of the toolbar on most browsers will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have the browser notify you when you receive a new cookie, or how to disable cookies altogether. If you choose to disable cookies in your web browser you will still be able to use all aspects of the site and purchase items.

Email Communication
Excition stores all email correspondence. Excition may use the content of stored email to provide a better customer service experience.
Information from Other Sources
We might receive information about you from other sources and add it to your account information. This information may come from friends and family members who are using Excition’s services. We will only use information that is provided by friends and family for their intended purpose and if at any time you would like said Information be removed from your account please contact us. These purposes may include but are not limited to: providing another person’s shipping address, providing referral addresses, and using our e-invoice feature to send a bill to another person.

Excition may also collect information from Third Parties. Third party information is collected to improve the accuracy of our customer database, identify potential customers and improve the quality of our service.

Sharing Information
Information about our customers is an important part of our business. Because we value your trust, Excition, Inc. only shares your personal information in order to provide you with services that you choose to receive. Excition, Inc. is not in the business of selling your personal information to others. We share customer information only as described below:
Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control
Excition, Inc. works with third party vendors and may need to share your information in order to complete your order. Transactions involving a third party vendor are explicitly designated as such and you can choose to not purchase or share information with these vendors.
Agents
We employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.
Promotional Offers
Sometimes we send offers to selected groups of Excition, Inc. customers on behalf of other businesses. When we do this, we do not give that business your name and address.
Business Transfers
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy subsidiaries or business units. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets but remains subject to the promises made in any pre-existing Privacy Notice (unless, the customer consents otherwise). Excition, Inc., may also transfer personal information in the event of a corporate sale, merger, acquisition, dissolution or similar event.
Marketing Communications
Excition, Inc. is an opt-out organization. Once we receive your information, we may send you marketing communications that contain valuable offers, promotions, and other content. You always have the option to opt-in or opt-out of receiving future marketing communications from Excition.

If you would like to opt-in to or opt-out of receiving marketing communications from Excition, Inc. you can take one of the following courses of action:

If you send an e-mail or letter request, please be sure to include your full name, address, phone number and e-mail address and indicate specifically what type of marketing communication(s) (e.g., e-mail, direct mail and/or phone) you wish to receive or stop receiving. This will ensure we identify you correctly in our systems and accurately process your request.

Excition will take appropriate steps to implement your request to opt-in or opt-out of receiving marketing communications. Please note that due to production, mailing and system timelines, in order to remove you from our marketing lists, it may take up to:

• 10 business days for e-mails
• 30 days for phone calls
• 6 weeks for direct mail

Until that change takes effect, you may still receive marketing communications from us.

PLEASE NOTE: that even though you may have opted out of receiving marketing communications, you may still receive business-related communications such as order confirmations, updates or other organization-related communications.

Protection of Excition and Others
From time to time, we may be required to share personal information in response to a valid court order, subpoena, government investigation, or as otherwise required by law. We also reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we, in good faith, believe to be unlawful. We may share certain personal information when we believe that such release is reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property and safety of others and ourselves. We may also transfer personal information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.

Other than as set out above, you will receive notice when information about you might go to third parties, and you will have an opportunity to choose not to share the information.

Security
When you are shopping and communicating with us we have security measures in place and take reasonable precautions to protect against the loss, misuse and unauthorized access of your personal information under our control. Excition, Inc. cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us by e-mail, and you do so at your own risk.

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.

We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. We do transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.

When you create an online account on Excition, Inc.’s website, you need to select a personal password. To maximize your level of protection, you should choose at least 6-30 characters including a combination of both letters and numbers. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password or any account information.

Accessing Information
Excition, Inc. gives you full access to a broad range of information collected about you. Excition, Inc. allows you to view and change most of the information you submit to us. This information can be modified or viewed through your personal account.
Your Choices
As discussed above, you can always choose not to provide information, even though it might be needed to make a purchase or to take advantage of features on Excition, Inc.’s web site.

You can add or update certain information we collect about you by visiting the personal information section of your account page.

If you do not want to receive e-mail or other mail from us, please follow the instructions for opting out of communications as stated in the Marketing Communication section. You will still receive pertinent legal notices from us. It is your responsibility to review Excition, Inc.’s policies for changes.

We have provided you with a partial list of products that offer anonymous browsing. In addition, the Federal Trade Commission provides useful information about online privacy on its own web site, Site Seeing on the Internet.

Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions
If you choose to visit www.excition.com, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our, conditions of use, including limitations on damages, arbitration of disputes, and application of the law of the state of Washington. If you have any concern about privacy please contact us with a thorough description, and we will try to resolve it.

Our business changes constantly, and our Privacy Notice and the Conditions of Use will change also. We may e-mail periodic reminders of our notices and conditions, but you should check our web site frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account. We stand behind the promises we make, however, and will never materially change our policies and practices to make them less protective of customer information collected in the past without the consent of affected customers.
